A Leap Of Faith

Some said we were crazy, others that it was a perfect time but one thing was for sure, a leap of faith was needed.

Life is always a bit of a game of chance and luck but you also make your own luck by pushing forwards and making yourself available for opportunities to arise. When life changes, you have to adapt and grow and one thing for certain is that change is a constant natural cycle.

Embrace impermanence, you’ll be pleased you did. Life does move on. Look back only to see how far you’ve come…

So in 2021, still in the very first tentative steps out of a global pandemic, we opened our first cafe at the heart of Edinburgh city centre, on the rooftop of Waverley Mall on Princes Street. Having concentrated our efforts on Event Catering for 5 years prior, we always knew that a cafe would be a natural progression for us so it was an exciting project to get our blood pumping after a winter lockdown.

Over that winter lockdown, we had also been working with the guys at mtc. to help us develop a new eCommerce website. This was something we always wanted to do so we took the opportunity to develop this side of Linton & Co. and we are really excited and thrilled about our new platform.

We have started off with a small Home Brew Equipment selection, with some great products to help you brew a tasty cup of coffee at home or while on your staycation. Also available is Homeware items including Acme & Co cups and Huskee reusable cups made from coffee husk waste. Our Lifestyle section will be slowly added to and our aim is to offer products and ideas to inspire you to spend more time in the great outdoors.

One thing that this global pandemic has reinforced in us at Linton & Co. is the importance of nature and its healing properties for us all. We hope that as we grow this area of our company, you will look to us for ideas, products and inspiration to live an active and healthy life, enjoying what this beautiful country has to offer.
